Our Methodology
Our Methodology Makes It Easy
Set Objectives
It all begins with your objectives for your site-the reasons why you have a web site. Whilst there are many common themes, each organization is trying to achieve something specific from their site. Achieving the objectives that you have begins with determining exactly what they are.Outcome: A list of business objectives for your website.
Analysis
Analysis determines the "what" of your web site-what it will do. This is simple for a basic web site, however for large or complex projects, analysis ensures that the dependencies, process flows and integrated systems are properly catered for so that the web site fits properly into the business environment.Outcome: A written specification.
Design
The design phase determines the "how" of the web site-how it will look, feel and act and work. From a creative perspective, design explores possibilities and options. From a technical perspective, design provides the final level of detail that is required for integration with databases and other back end systems.Outcome: Draft design(s) of your website.
Build
During the build phase, your site is developed and tested on a non-production server. Throughout this stage prototypes are usually available to ensure that you have ongoing input into the project. By the end of this phase, coding is complete and your site is ready.Outcome: A fully functional website on a test server.
Acceptance
Customer acceptance confirms that you are happy with the website and that it meets your requirements. The site is available from our test servers, so you and your staff have hands-on access to ensure that everything is satisfactory. Upon achieving acceptance, the site is then transferred to the production web server and becomes live on the web.Outcome: Your live website.
